    People have always been fascinated by exotic animals. These days, zoos make it easy to see some of the most majestic and breath-taking species in the world.

    Whilst they’re there to educate the public, they’re also there to protect and save various species. One thing that’s critical for the well-being of captive animals is to have lots of space to thrive in their enclosure.

    10. Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, India – a national leader in saving wildlife

    Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is found in the Seethakonda Reserve Forest in Andhra Pradesh, India. The park prides itself on being ‘the closest you can get to the wilderness in the city.’

    Their vision is to be the national leader in saving wildlife, having many conservation programmes to ensure biodiversity for future generations.

    As one of the biggest zoos in the world, it is involved in over 36 projects worldwide aimed at saving our most precious species.
