    To stay out of trouble in Ireland, it is essential to obey the law, respect others and always follow the instructions of an Garda Síochána (Irish police).

    From trespassing to drunk driving, plenty of acts can see you facing jail time, so let us give you the lowdown on how to make sure this doesn’t happen. Let’s examine the ten acts that could get you arrested in Ireland.

    Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a severe offence in Ireland and can result in a hefty fine, a driving ban, or even imprisonment.

    Since this is something to take seriously when driving in Ireland, never drink before getting behind the wheel.

    The possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited in Ireland and can lead to arrest, imprisonment, and a criminal record. This is one of the main acts that could get you arrested in Ireland and should be followed carefully.

    It’s always best to abide by the law and respect local customs and regulations when visiting a foreign country, as each country has its own rules and regulations. Ireland is a welcoming country, yet plenty of things are not tolerated. So, be aware and stay safe when visiting.
