    For example, Lagos, also known as ‘Lasgidi’, is a bustling metropolis constantly growing and developing. Uyo serves as a fantastic gateway to the trans-border Cross River National Park, one of Nigeria’s best national parks.

    Beginning on the first of December each year, a month’s Calabar Carnival draws thousands of tourists from around the globe who come to participate in the largest street party in Africa.

    Icons such as Akon, Nelly, Fat Joe, Juvenile, Jeezy, Lucky Dube, and Kirk Franklin have all performed at Calabar Carnival. So, visiting Nigeria in the Christmas season should be on your bucket list.

    Nigeria boasts an iconic Atlantic Ocean coastline. With its 1372.77 kilometres (853 miles) of coastline, there are innumerable stunning beaches to enjoy, whether you travel solo or with company.

    A few beaches worth mentioning are Calabar Beach (which is well-known for its mix of adventure, peaceful seclusion, and spectacular views), Ibeno Beach (which is the longest sand beach in West Africa), and Akodo Beach (which has the whitest sands the nation has to offer).
